Title : Mechanical Assembler Location : West Palm Beach, FL Hire Type : Long Term Contract with Immediate Benefits! Shift : 2nd Shift (4:30 pm-1:00 am) Compensation : $20/hour

Sterling Engineering is looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Assembler to join the production team. In this role, you will perform assembly and subassembly work on the product line, ensuring precision, safety, and quality in every task. This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring continuous production activity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized work procedures.
Job Duties : Use material handling equipment, hand tools, and air-impact tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches). Perform basic and precision subassemblies at various steps of the assembly process. Conduct visual and mechanical inspections using gauges and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and resistance meters. Pack finished products into boxes for shipment. Qualifications :
Ability to follow standard work instructions and procedures. Ability to perform both basic and precise subassemblies. Experience using air-impact and handheld tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills. Previous assembly experience preferred. Candidates with electrical or mechanical trade school education may also be considered.
