POSITION SUMMARY

The

Director of Total Rewards

will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Cogir's compensation, benefits, and rewards programs across both corporate and community teams.

This role is responsible for ensuring Cogir's total rewards strategy is competitive, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's culture and growth goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in total rewards, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for creating programs that recognize and retain exceptional talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation Strategy & Program Design

Develop and manage comprehensive compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain talent across all levels. Lead annual salary review, benchmarking, and market analysis processes to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Oversee incentives, bonuses, and recognition programs that align with business performance and organizational values. Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure compensation structures align with budget and strategic goals. Benefits & Wellness Administration

Oversee the design, administration, and communication of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives. Continuously evaluate benefits offerings for competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and employee satisfaction. Partner with brokers, vendors, and carriers to optimize service and value. Lead the development of wellbeing initiatives that support physical, mental, and financial health across the organization. Compliance, Reporting & Governance

Ensure compliance with all federal and state compensation and benefits laws (FLSA, ACA, ERISA, etc.). Develop and maintain consistent compensation and benefits policies, documentation, and reporting structures. Support audits, data reporting, and executive compensation analyses. Leadership & Collaboration

Partner with senior leadership, HR, and Operations to align total rewards strategy with overall business objectives. Advise and educate leaders on compensation and benefits practices. Lead and mentor a small team responsible for day-to-day program administration and data analytics. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support transparent and competitive job offers and postings. Requirements

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field (Master's or HR certification preferred). 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, and total rewards; 3+ years in a leadership capacity. Skills:

Strong analytical skills with experience using compensation data and HRIS systems to drive insights and decisions. Deep knowledge of compensation design, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or multi-site organizations is highly preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills. WHAT WE OFFER

Salary Description

$155,000 to $165,000
