Financial Accountant
cellumation Inc. , with its one-of-a-kind patented celluveyor technology, offers powerful automation solutions for material flow systems in intralogistics and distribution.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Financial Accountant to take ownership of all financial operations within our organization. This is a part-time position with the potential to be full-time. This key internal role is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and overall fiscal health. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-driven, and capable of maintaining accuracy under pressure while contributing to the company’s growth and efficiency. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports with precision and timeliness.
Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
Manage monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, and expense reporting.
Collaborate closely with leadership on financial strategy, cost control, and investment planning in the US and with parent company in Germany.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Collaborate with our external CPA firm on tax filings, annual financial statements, and compliance matters.
Identify process improvements and communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to management for informed decision‑making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred).
3–5+ years of accounting or finance management experience in a corporate or multi‑department environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP standards, tax preparation, and financial reporting (experience with HGB, German Commercial Coding).
Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and financial software systems. (If you do not have advanced experience in QuickBooks, please do not apply)
Exceptionally attentive to detail, organized, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Proactive self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a small, high‑performing team.
Experience collaborating with external CPA firms preferred.
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Bilingual German is a plus.
