Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive
Systems & Network Engineer
to design, implement, and support our IT infrastructure across servers, networks, and security systems. The ideal candidate will have experience managing enterprise networks, Windows/Linux systems, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of both cloud and on‑prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN networks.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, routing, or switching issues.
Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
Implement VLANs, QoS, and other advanced network configurations.
Maintain IP addressing schemes, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.
System Administration
Administer physical and virtual servers (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper‑V).
Perform system upgrades, patch management, and OS hardening.
Monitor system performance, backups, and availability using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, file servers, and other core infrastructure services.
Maintain and secure Office 365, Exchange, and cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Security & Compliance
Implement security policies across network and system layers.
Manage identity and access controls, including MFA and privileged access.
Support endpoint protection, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS/IDS).
Assist in vulnerability management, incident response, and audit readiness.
Support & Documentation
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues.
Document network and system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and drills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in systems and network administration/engineering.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and firewall management.
Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
Familiarity with backup tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault) and monitoring platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as
CCNA/CCNP ,
CompTIA Network+/Security+ ,
MCSA , or
Azure/AWS Associate .
Experience in securing hybrid IT/OT environments (for manufacturing).
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) or automation (Ansible, Terraform) tools.
Exposure to Zero Trust architecture or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
