Job Description Summary The Quality Analyst at Draper provides support for the quality control and assurance process and plays a role in maintaining standards, ensuring compliance and supporting quality teams. The incumbent will make independent judgements in planning work details, manage projects, interface with technical and program management staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. The Quality Analyst may be the sub-task lead of a team executing plans and guiding their teams in addition to performing the following duties/responsibilities.
In This Role You Will Have
Familiarity with the acquisition, tracking, maintenance, utilization, and disposal of government property throughout its lifecycle.
Familiarity with the risk management process: identifying, analyzing, and controlling threats.
Experience with continuous improvement process for products, services, and processes.
Experience with product and process non-conformance systems: identify, document, analyze and correct.
Experience with writing documents and creating and giving presentations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze data, develop and document process; identify areas for improvement and continuous improvement opportunities.
Manage the problem reporting process by establishing reviews, enforcing policy, collecting metrics, actions and reviewing data for trends.
Develop and give presentations, as needed; update user guides, documents, and training material.
Coordinate, schedule and prepare presentations for internal business operations risk reviews; track and follow up on action items, document new and updated risks.
Participate in internal and external quality and/or property audits; identify, investigate, and resolve issues.
Interface with program managers and team members on contract requirements, customer deliverables and track deliverable status.
Skills And Abilities
Self-starting, organized, proactive and detail-oriented.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with collaborative work.
Experience with solving problems and contributing to process improvements.
Ability to manage projects, activities that require scheduling, planning and organizing.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant degree is required.
Experience
3 years prior experience required in a Quality focused role.
Additional Job Description
This role requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance.
