Production Designer, Global Visual Experience
Adecco Creative is partnering with an iconic NYC fashion house to recruit for a Production Designer. This role will be an ongoing contract and a hybrid schedule in Midtown Manhattan.
Primary Purpose The Production Designer, Global Visual Experience, will play a key role in bringing the brand to life through compelling, high-quality in-store and window presentations. This individual will support the creative and visual merchandising teams in developing, adapting, and executing visual assets—including window designs, in-store graphics, signage, and seasonal campaign materials—ensuring every detail reflects the brand’s optimistic, sophisticated, and modern aesthetic. The role ensures that seasonal windows, in-store creative packages, signage programs, and new store opening kits are consistently adapted across all store formats, delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand standards. The Production Designer partners closely with cross‑functional teams—including Creative, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Field & Store Operations, and external vendors—and provides day‑to‑day leadership on timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities Production Design & Adaptation:
Execute final artwork and mechanical files for print and digital formats, including window graphics, signage, posters, and large-format displays.
Adapt existing campaign creative across various store formats, sizes, and markets while maintaining brand consistency and quality.
Prepare and format artwork for production vendors, ensuring technical accuracy and brand standards.
Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising and Creative teams to develop and refine seasonal window concepts and in-store displays.
Assist in layout planning and mockups for window installations, graphic placements, and material selections.
Support the production of visual toolkits and rollout guides for global store implementation.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Print Production, Store Design, and Marketing teams to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.
Liaise with vendors and printers to review proofs, manage file specifications, and troubleshoot production issues.
Brand Stewardship:
Ensure all materials reflect the brand’s distinct brand identity.
Maintain and update internal asset libraries, templates, and brand guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
3–5+ years (min) of experience in production design, experiential design, visual merchandising, or retail marketing (fashion or lifestyle brand experience preferred).
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong understanding of print production processes, color management, and file preparation for large‑format printing.
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
A strong eye for typography, layout, and brand storytelling.
