Location Full‑time, on‑site position based at our Newport News, VA headquarters. The role requires presence in the office five days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Asset Room operations, including inventory control, device check‑in/check‑out, and coordination with procurement and disposal processes.
Maintain accurate records of hardware assets, including serial numbers, warranty status, and lifecycle stages.
Implement secure handling protocols for sensitive equipment and ensure compliance with company asset management policies.
Receive, label, and store new equipment in the Asset Room.
Conduct regular audits of Asset Room inventory and reconcile discrepancies with asset tracking systems.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes by provisioning and reclaiming hardware assets efficiently.
Provide first‑line technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
Assist with provisioning, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune or equivalent MDM platforms.
Maintain compliance with device security standards including encryption, access controls, and endpoint protection.
Administer user accounts, security groups, and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Solve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Monitor and respond to support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and detailed documentation.
Support IT infrastructure projects such as hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, and technology rollouts.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience in IT asset management, including tracking hardware/software inventory and lifecycle documentation.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent hands‑on experience.
Experience with inventory systems and asset tracking tools.
Experience within help desk environments.
Strong understanding of Windows and macOS environments.
Familiarity with mobile device management platforms, especially Microsoft Intune.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Pay Range $4,387.02 - $7,681.62
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles or Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
