Sr Manager, FP&A Location: Troy, MI – Full‑time – Mid‑Senior level – Finance, Strategy/Planning, and Manufacturing (Plastics Manufacturing)
Your Job The Senior Manager, FP&A is a key member of the Finance team responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision‑making. This role partners closely with business leaders to provide actionable insights, ensure financial accuracy, and optimize performance across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long‑range financial plans.
Ensure alignment of financial plans with corporate strategy and operational goals.
Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports to senior leadership.
Analyze variances, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial guidance and scenario modeling.
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems.
Implement best practices for data integrity, reporting efficiency, and forecasting accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
2+ years in an FP&A or corporate finance leadership role.
Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling (experience with ERP and Power BI tools).
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or CPA.
SAP and OneStream experience.
Automotive or manufacturing industry experience.
