CES is now looking for an HR Generalist for a growing local manufacturing company. Salary range for this role is 75K-85K DOE.
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic
Human Resources Generalist
to lead our efforts in Greenwood, Indiana. This role is responsible for managing core HR functions including employee relations, compliance, payroll, benefits administration, talent acquisition, performance management and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate is an innovative, data-driven HR professional with a passion for cultivating high-performing teams, enhancing the employee experience, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
Responsibilities
Policy & Employee Relations Support:
Administer various human resources plans and procedures for designated facility including benefits, leave of absences requests, unemployment, etc. Responsible for payroll administration and administration of the timekeeping system.
HR Operations & Compliance:
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. May assist in responding to internal and external inquiries including, but not limited to, EEOC, legal authorities, government agencies, employee inquiries. Notifies Senior HR Manager or VP of HR of such inquiries. May represent company at hearing.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
Conduct external and internal recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel and temporary employees.
Strategic Talent Management & Career Development:
Monitor HR programs such as performance evaluations, transfer requests, corrective actions. Produce and maintain reports and results of HR departments in relation to Talent Management and Career Development.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
Participate in the Vision Committee and the weekly VIP Board meeting at the designated facility, if applicable. Support and serve as a role model for the company’s mission, vision and values.
Strategic HR Partnership:
Provide assistance and guidance to managers and supervisors on HR policies and procedures. Work cooperatively with supervisors to identify and resolve issues. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Documentation, Safety & Other Duties:
Document all activities as required. Adhere to all company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety. Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in Human Resources OR a master’s degree in human resources management and 2 years of experience OR 7 years of experience in Human Resources OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Proficient computer knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Seniority Level Associate.
