Job Summary
We’re partnered with a fast-growing, fourth-generation homebuilder that’s reshaping the residential landscape in Utah County. As our Project Accountant, you’ll track costs, ensure accuracy across projects, and support leadership with clear reporting. Responsibilities Perform full‑cycle accounts payable and receivable functions.
Track project budgets, job costs, and WIP (Work‑in‑Progress).
Prepare, review, and process vendor invoices and subcontractor payments.
Support draw schedules and payment applications.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate coding of project transactions.
Coordinate with an external CPA for tax filings and audit preparation.
Support payroll processes in collaboration with leadership or a provider.
Prepare monthly project reports and support financial decision‑making.
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Desktop and/or Online.
Provide administrative and accounting support across project teams.
Qualifications 3+ years of experience in construction, real estate, or project‑based accounting.
Full‑charge bookkeeping or general‑ledger accounting experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online.
Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, and WIP tracking.
Highly organized with strong time‑management skills.
Comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with leadership.
