PeopleShare is seeking detail-oriented Mechatronics / Electronics Assembly Technicians for a top manufacturer specializing in precision potentiometers. This position involves the assembly, soldering, and testing of miniature electronic and mechanical components, much of which is performed under magnification or microscopes to ensure the highest quality standards.
The technician will perform diagnostics, calibration, and quality verification using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic testing equipment. Following J-Standard (IPC J-STD-001) guidelines, you'll collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure consistent product performance and reliability.
Mechatronics / Electronics Assembly Technician Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and solder miniature electronic and mechanical components used in potentiometer manufacturing under microscopes and magnification tools. Perform diagnostics, calibration, and quality verification using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other precision instruments. Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings to ensure product integrity and compliance with specifications. Maintain compliance with J-Standard (IPC J-STD-001) soldering and assembly requirements. Record production data, inspection results, and test documentation accurately. Support process improvements and collaborate with engineering to optimize assembly and testing efficiency. Mechatronics / Electronics Assembly Technician Job Requirements:
Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology Proven experience in electronics assembly and fine-pitch or micro-soldering J-Standard (IPC J-STD-001) Certification required or willingness to obtain Skilled in performing precise assembly work under microscopes and magnification Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to quality Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics Preferred: Experience with potentiometer assembly, sensors, or electromechanical components Mechatronics / Electronics Assembly Technician Company Profile:
