Description: Role Details: The Account Manager will touch all facets of the business from aiding in the sales process to ensuring the delivery and stewardship of the deals. This individual will work with a designated sales team to support our cable business across our core cable networks: MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount, Nickelodeon, CMT, Logo, Pop TV, TV Land, and Smithsonian. The Account Manager will be responsible for flawless campaign planning as well as providing optimal client service support for their assigned advertisers and agencies.

The Account Manager will work with multiple internal teams including P&I to confirm pricing and inventory availability as well as Sales Associates for delivery tracking, ADU packages, and MSAs. They will also work closely with our Digital and Broadcast counterparts on convergent opportunities across our mutual clients.

Your Day-to-Day:

Partner with sales to build client relationships while also helping the team upsell & renew business

Ensure continuity and success across pre-and post-sale activities - own the entire deal flow & run its success

Work closely with Pricing & Inventory to build media plans for Upfront & Scatter deals.

Lead a team of Sales Associates, assisting them with pre and post-sale processes.

Lead sponsorship opportunities within the internal system from start to finish.

Join and participate on sales calls with Account Executives (in-person and virtually)

Work with Marketing, Research, ad Promotion Departments to develop tailored sales presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS: What you bring to the team:

Two plus years of either Ad Sales planning experience (preferably linear) or tv buying experience/media planning at an agency

A strong desire to win and grow as a cable ad sales professional; Thrive in a team-oriented environment

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Strong written communication skills and ability to think creatively

Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment

Must be very organized, detailed, and accurate with exceptional foresight

A dedicated and driven work ethic

You might also have:

BS / BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Experience working with WideOrbit, FreeWheel, Salesforce, and/or Operative

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $73,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
