DRI Systems is hiring multiple Low Voltage Field Service Technicians to support a nationwide network infrastructure upgrade for one of our major clients.
This is a travel-based role where you’ll work alongside a Lead Field Engineer, performing structured cabling, network installations, and technology refresh projects at customer sites across the U.S. You’ll travel in a company-provided service van, work with advanced technologies, and be part of a professional, fast-moving technical team.
Key Responsibilities
Install and service
low voltage and network infrastructure
systems at client sites.
Assemble and mount
network racks, cabinets, and structured cabling systems (MDF/IDF) .
Pull, terminate, and test
Cat6 cabling , including in-wall, conduit, and ceiling runs.
Troubleshoot and repair
network connectivity and low-voltage systems .
Perform basic setup and testing of
network devices
(routers, switches, access points).
Accurately document work performed and update service tickets.
Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
Follow all company
safety and quality standards
on-site.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a
Low Voltage Technician ,
Field Service Technician , or equivalent.
Proficient in
Cat6 cabling installation
and structured wiring.
Familiar with
legacy telco systems
and low-voltage standards (TIA/EIA).
Basic understanding of
networking equipment
and troubleshooting.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
required.
Strong mechanical aptitude, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to travel nationwide Monday–Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, BICSI Installer , or similar.
Experience with
access control ,
CCTV/IP camera systems , or
fiber installations .
Familiarity with
ticketing systems
and remote support tools.
Tools & Equipment
Laptop and Wi-Fi hotspot.
Fully stocked toolset (hand tools, drills, punch-down tools, testers).
Company vehicle and travel support for all assignments.
Availability & Travel
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule (flexibility as needed).
Nationwide travel required (Real ID necessary).
Typically home on weekends.
