What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Assess brand, compliance, fraud, and financial risk to determine credit exposure risk on new and existing merchants

Utilize business credit reports, financial documents, and investigative research tools for risk assessments

Investigate and employ new sources of third‑party data to evaluate merchant financial risk

Conduct ongoing monitoring of credit, fraud, and chargeback trends by merchants

Provide guidance on automating and improving merchant risk evaluation processes

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of 2 years of experience in assessing merchant risk in areas such as Merchant/Seller Risk Management, Fraud, Collections, or Merchant Underwriting

Experience working collaboratively with cross‑functional partners, particularly Sales and Business Development teams

Proficient in reviewing financial documents, business credit reports, and payment processor statements

Demonstrated ownership mentality with accountability, urgency, and execution

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Previous experience in payments, lending, banking, or financial institutions
