Associate Property Manager, Multifamily Overview
Associate Property Managers maintain our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring high service and building and motivating high performing teams to maximize property performance. Responsibilities
Assist the Regional Property Manager with overall building operations. Ensure smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment. Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc. Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards. Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic. Lead by example, instill, maintain, and model the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company. Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are followed. Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary. Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards. Maintain a positive living environment for residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up. Manage and maintain all aspects of the overall community budget and finances. Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met. Competencies
Effective communication and customer service skills. Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills. General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting; improving the performance of each staff member. Supervise day-to-day operations of team, ensuring all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are followed. Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met. Be able to manage a team. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. Experience
3+ years Property Management experience. 1+ years Management experience. Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required. Work Environment
Professional office environment with standard office equipment; regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical Demands
Stand, walk, rise and descend stairs, ladders, and step stools; travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions; remain stationary or sit for 85% of the time; operate office machinery. Compensation
Hourly rate: $36.78 - $43.27 per hour. Benefits
