Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – HQ)
Schedule:
9/80 schedule, starting as early as 7:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. with every other Friday off
Duration:
6-month W2 assignment (potential to extend / convert)
Pay Range:
$56.00 – $62.00 per hour
On behalf of our client, a regional wholesaler and the largest supplier of treated water in the United States, we are seeking a
Senior Administrative Analyst .
The
Senior Administrative Analyst
will provide advanced administrative and analytical support focused on Workers’ Compensation claims administration and Industrial Accommodations. This position works closely with Third Party Administrators (TPAs), legal counsel, safety and risk management teams, and internal HR staff to ensure compliance with the Department of Industrial Relations, the Offices of Self-Insurance Plans (OSIP), and OSHA for work‑related injuries, illnesses, and incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and coordinate Workers’ Compensation claims (litigated and non‑litigated) in partnership with TPAs such as Tristar Risk Management and Hanna Brophy.
Support Industrial Accommodation requests in collaboration with HR, Safety, and Risk Management teams.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including DIR, OSIP, and OSHA reporting requirements.
Review, track, and process billing related to workers’ compensation claims and services.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation related to claims activity and compliance audits.
Serve as a liaison between employees, providers, TPAs, and internal departments.
Research and analyze data to identify trends, support decision‑making, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
Manage and prioritize multiple assignments with accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee and medical information.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and
six (6) years
of relevant experience; OR
Master’s degree in a related field and
four (4) years
of relevant experience; OR
Two (2) years in a Metropolitan Water District Analyst classification.
Minimum of 4 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience
(both litigated and non‑litigated).
Demonstrated knowledge of Workers’ Compensation processing, TPA coordination, Department of Industrial Relations, and OSIP compliance.
Experience processing billing and payments related to claims is a strong plus.
Expert‑level proficiency in
MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
and
SharePoint .
Local to Southern California (no relocation assistance provided).
Not a CalPERS member.
