What You'll Do
Develop excellent client relationships in support of successful account delivery, to aid change and conflict management and promoting Amey in retaining/winning future works
Undertake people management duties including Performance Development Reviews for direct reports promoting Amey's and Diversity policy and encouraging an open and honest environment within the existing Commercial team
Ensure best value for money is achieved and provide accurate and timely expenditure forecasts and invoices.
Guarantee the contractor is appropriately equipped to meet and deliver against its risk management framework, on behalf of the Contractor's Representative
Undertake internal audits, monitoring, and ensuring staff compliance, and attending all meetings on the effectiveness of the Management System and Quality Plan. Establishing Commercial best practise and evolving quality management systems and procedures
Ensure all Contractual obligations and Commercial risks are administered in line with the contract and advise the Principal Commercial Manager and Operational leads in ensuring timely issuing of all notices required under the contract
Full collation/presentation of month end CVR; including any supplementary documents to assess contract performance

What You'll Bring
Proven track record in quantity surveying / commercial management with experience in a senior role
Experience working within a construction background
Full UK driving licence (essential)
A Quantity Surveying degree or master's degree (desirable)
Detailed knowledge of the records, approaches and options for dispute resolution and avoidance
Determination to develop, coach and empower junior members of the Commercial team, fostering an environment of honesty, mutual respect, and openness
