The community you’ll be caring for:

AdventHealth Celebration – a 203‑bed hospital serving residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties and visitors worldwide.

The Role You’ll Contribute Under supervision, the Advanced Endoscopy Technician is the primary assistant to the physician performing endoscopy procedures. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting physicians with advanced endoscopic procedures for complex digestive health issues with minimal direction.

Performing technical and delegated duties in the procedure room.

Maintaining, caring for, and disinfecting/sterilizing all scopes and equipment.

Transporting patients and assisting in patient care under RN supervision.

Adhering to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable regulations.

Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining respectful relationships.

Demonstrates AdventHealth's service standards and provides excellent patient care.

Assists physician with high acuity / high risk endoscopic procedures such as Grade III Complex ERCP, SPYGlass, complex endomucosal resection, managed pancreatic endotherapy, EUS‑guided interventions, and more.

Selects and operates appropriate equipment, troubleshoots issues, and anticipates physician needs during procedures.

Uses laser procedures safely and collaborates with the Laser Safety Officer.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

One year experience as an endoscopy technician or comparable health care role.

Experience assisting GI physicians with complex advanced procedures (ERCP, Spyglass, EUS‑guided biliary, navigation bronchoscopy, EBUS).

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.

Preferred Licensure, Certification or Registration

HSPA Certified Endoscope Reprocessing

CBSPD Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing

SGNA GI Technical Specialist (GTS) Associate Program

SGNA Advanced GI Technical Specialist (AGTS) Advanced Associate Program
