The Information Services team at UTIMCO supports all technology systems—including Windows environments, BYOD, and Office 365—and seeks a candidate with experience in enterprise desktop support, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer‑first mindset. The role requires root‑cause analysis and the proposal of long‑term solutions to improve client outcomes.

Responsibilities

Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktop systems and Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive), and mobile devices (iOS, Android).

Provide in‑person and remote support for hardware, software, printing, and operating‑system issues.

Maintain and manage user accounts, permissions, and device compliance through Entra ID and Intune.

Track and resolve incidents using ITSM tools, ensuring adherence to SLAs and documentation standards.

Collaborate with senior team members to refine troubleshooting procedures and update knowledge‑base content.

Support virtual desktop environments and remote workstation provisioning.

Participate in root‑cause analysis and propose long‑term solutions to recurring issues.

Assist with workstation lifecycle management, including imaging, patching, and asset tracking.

Support mobile devices (iOS and Android), including secure access and MDM enrollment.

Provide onboarding assistance to employees and contractors.

Contribute to IT security initiatives, including endpoint protection, MFA enforcement, and data‑loss prevention.

Foster strong relationships across UTIMCO to promote a culture of service, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in enterprise desktop support, with emphasis on Microsoft 365 technologies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Teams (including Teams Rooms), SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Exchange Online.

Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance policies, and remote support.

Familiarity with Entra ID for identity and access management, including MFA and Conditional Access.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

Strong understanding of Wi‑Fi and experience troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Experience supporting executives and mobile power users.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑first mindset.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Tenable Nessus.

Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid identity environments.

Ability to troubleshoot microphones, cameras, speakers, and display systems.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent.

Financial services experience.

Note: This is currently an onsite role, with five days in our downtown Austin, TX office.
