Senior Accountant Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr (paid by Anderson Frank; actual pay based on skills)
Responsibilities
Prepare and review
quarterly and annual SEC filings
(Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.) ensuring accuracy and compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP.
Assist in drafting
financial statement footnotes , MD&A, and other disclosures for public filings.
Coordinate with
external auditors
and internal teams to support quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Maintain and update
XBRL tagging
for SEC filings.
Support the preparation of
monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements .
Ensure
SOX compliance
by maintaining proper documentation and internal control procedures.
Research and interpret
new accounting standards (ASC updates)
and evaluate their impact on financial statements.
Collaborate with FP&A, tax, and treasury teams to ensure alignment of reporting and disclosures.
Assist with
technical accounting memos , special projects, and process improvements related to financial reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
CPA certification required
(active or in progress).
5+ years
of progressive accounting experience, including
3+ years
in SEC reporting for a public company or Big 4 public accounting environment.
Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP ,
SEC regulations , and
SOX compliance .
Experience with
Workiva (Wdesk) ,
Oracle ,
SAP , or similar ERP/reporting systems preferred.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
