We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. This is an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail, creativity, and craftsmanship are highly valued.

Position Summary As a pastry cook, you will assist in the preparation and execution of high‑quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods for à la carte dining, banquets, and other unique member events. You will work closely with the Pastry Chef and other culinary leadership to maintain the club’s culinary standards and deliver an exceptional experience to our members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and plated desserts according to club standards.

Assist in the design and execution of seasonal dessert menus and special event offerings.

Maintain precise attention to presentation, flavor, and portion consistency.

Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the pastry area.

Properly store ingredients and monitor product quality and freshness.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of pastry or baking experience in a fine dining restaurant, hotel, or private club setting.

Must be able to perform all job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.

Must be a clear thinker who can remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment, as well as being able to follow directions thoroughly and understand a guest’s needs.

Must possess a strong understanding of classic and modern pastry techniques.

Must be able to comprehend and follow recipes as well as scale recipes both up and down.

Must have excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.

Being able to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English is preferred.

Flexible schedule with availability for weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
