The facility is seeking a

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics Hospitalist

to join its dynamic women’s health team in

Charlotte, North Carolina . This hospital-based position offers an excellent opportunity to focus exclusively on inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including labor and delivery management, emergency OB/GYN coverage, and inpatient consultations. The schedule is flexible, with a balanced rotation designed to support work-life balance and minimize burnout. The OB Hospitalist team collaborates closely with obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and coordinated care for patients. 843-984-0745 . Essential Position Responsibilities

Provide hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic care, including labor and delivery management.

Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies and provide inpatient consultations.

Assist with triage, admissions, and postoperative care.

Manage both routine and high-risk deliveries in collaboration with the obstetrics team.

Perform surgical procedures including cesarean sections and emergency gynecologic interventions.

Support patient safety initiatives and adherence to clinical protocols.

Participate in quality improvement, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

Education:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

Licensure & Certification:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; eligible for North Carolina medical licensure.

Experience:

Prior hospitalist or inpatient OB experience preferred; new graduates with strong inpatient interest are encouraged to apply.
