Overview The Media Planner (Planning & Strategy), responsible for day‑to‑day media communication, budget control, and digital media activity, works closely with the Supervisor and Associates to develop and deliver client media plans.
Responsibilities
Assist the Supervisor in developing digital media plan options and recommendations.
Maintain accurate budget control and flow of media activity; update the client consistently.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of online media fundamentals, media math, target audience development, and communication goals (reach/frequency).
Demonstrate proficiency with systems/tools (MRI, MediaTools, ComScore).
Gather and analyze research to provide strategic, consumer‑insights‑driven digital media recommendations.
Establish collaborative, productive relationships with implementation teams to ensure media strategies meet brand goals and client needs.
Ensure proper execution of digital media plans by monitoring buys/schedules.
Develop strong working relationships with partner agencies, where applicable, to create seamless communications.
Demonstrate creativity and agility in problem solving.
Deliver POVs/position papers on key client issues and opportunities.
Prepare media authorizations per approved plans/project requests.
Qualifications
2–3+ years of experience supporting digital and traditional media campaigns, ideally at an agency.
MediaTools knowledge is a must.
Familiarity with competitive systems (AdViews, Kantar, etc.) and research tools (MRI, ComScore, etc.).
Strong proficiency in Excel.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Professional, with strong teamwork skills.
Solution‑oriented problem solver.
Adept at time management and handling shifting priorities.
