We’re growing quickly and seeking a Catering Sales Manager to help expand our client base, nurture existing relationships, and drive long-term business success. What you’ll do: Sales and Client Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and inbound inquiries.

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, social, and repeat clients to maximize retention and referrals.

Develop tailored proposals and contracts that align with client goals and company standards.

Collaborate with leadership to promote seasonal offerings, packages, and key initiatives.

Track and analyze sales metrics to identify trends, forecast business, and strategize for continued growth.

Client Experience And Event Oversight

Serve as the primary point of contact from inquiry through event execution, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction.

Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate effectively with culinary, staffing, and beverage teams.

Attend select events to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met or exceeded.

Collect and analyze post-event feedback to continuously improve the client experience.

Operational Collaboration

Partner closely with the Staffing Manager to ensure appropriate staffing and beverage coordination for each event.

Coordinate rental orders, including linens, tabletop, serviceware, and specialty items as needed.

Ensure all logistical details are confirmed, organized, and communicated clearly to the internal team and vendors.

Prepare and distribute event binders or digital packets with all relevant documents (BEOs, floor plans, timelines, rental summaries, and client notes).

Anticipate potential challenges and proactively address them to ensure every event is set up for success.

Support the refinement of internal systems, processes, and checklists that improve event flow and team communication.

Leadership and Brand Representation

Represent Carmelized Productions at tastings, venue tours, and industry events.

Uphold brand standards of hospitality, professionalism, and responsiveness in all interactions.

Contribute to a culture of collaboration, positivity, and growth within the team.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in catering, event sales, or hospitality management (sales experience preferred).

Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals and building long-term client relationships.

Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/event management platforms (Tripleseat or similar a plus).

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Positive, self-motivated, and collaborative with a passion for hospitality.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
