Position Overview The Global Accounting & Finance Specialist is responsible for managing complex multi-entity accounting operations across ActionCOACH’s global network. This role oversees billing, reconciliations, royalty and vendor finance management, tax preparation, and financial reporting across multiple currencies and regions. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong understanding of intercompany accounting, and the ability to coordinate with regional teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities 1. Billing and Revenue Management

Prepare and maintain 150+ worldwide territory valuations and master lists. \>Manage royalty billing, including creation of payables schedules, invoicing, and distribution to Master Licensees (MLs) and team members. Calculate and invoice percentage-based royalties (PBR) by pulling KPI reports and verifying thresholds.

Review contracts to determine training and additional coach fees; prepare and send invoices.

Administer vendor finance billing: verify balances, review contracts, calculate broker amounts, and manage UK-specific adjustments (e.g., 15% coach fee within 6 months).

Review and confirm contract compliance for territories, EBCs, and coaches prior to billing.

Create and maintain billing templates and manual schedules for coaches, MLs, and team members.

Issue PDF invoices, email billing notifications, and follow up on past-due accounts.

2. Accounts Payable & Bank Transactions

Record payables, wire transfers, and bank service transactions for multiple entities.

Manage and reconcile global bank accounts in multiple currencies (USD, GBP, EUR, NZD, ZAR, AUD).

Record and reconcile wire transfer fees and vendor finance payments.

3. Reconciliations and Reporting

Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations (20+ entities, 400+ annual transactions).

Perform vendor finance reconciliations, analyze bad debt, and prepare adjusting journal entries.

Ensure proper recording of all global recharges and marketing fund allocations.

Support global recharge calculations in collaboration with Finance Leadership.

Maintain accurate financial records and schedules for payment plans.

4. Tax Preparation and Compliance

Compile and scan invoices for quarterly tax filings (EMEA, IPS, and other regions).

Prepare tax payable reports and adjusting entries.

Support external audit processes (Wellden Turnbull, IPS Audit) by preparing required documentation and reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with tax and reporting requirements in all operating regions.

Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements including Trial Balance, General Ledger, and Profit & Loss.

Provide audit-ready supporting documentation (bank statements, intercompany balances, etc.).

Post adjusting entries and finalize books for month-end and year-end closing.

Review draft financials and confirm accuracy prior to submission.

6. Additional Responsibilities

Manage records of trainees and coordinate with UK team for billing and access approval.

Coordinate with Legal to reconcile deactivated accounts and maintain updated schedules.

Support financial oversight for ActionCOACH Holdings, including invoicing for distributions and royalty payments.

Perform daily check deposits for US accounts and report summaries for reconciliation.

Assist in travel scheduling and corporate card reconciliation as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in multi-entity or international accounting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).

Advanced Excel skills; ability to prepare and analyze complex schedules.

Strong understanding of intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and global tax reporting.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication across time zones.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in franchising or professional services environment.

Familiarity with UK and EMEA financial regulations.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines across global time zones.

Collaborative mindset and proactive problem-solving skills.
