What does this role look like? Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM Test Missile Kit (TMK) program where you will be involved in planning and supporting avionics work scope and program execution.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
Long range planning.
Cost modeling and proposal support.
Support Control Account Managers (CAM) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead in program business rhythms including internal and external customer meetings, EVM, control account planning and risk and opportunities.
Ensure planning is coordinated across Program and suppliers.
Typical minimums for this role:
1+ years of professional experience for this role.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (engineering field or technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education.
Prior proposal, cost modeling, or long range project planning experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical).
Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.
Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking.
Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields. outside of Systems Engineering.
Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management experience.
Excellent presentation abilities.
Excellent organizational skills.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location.
