About the Position: This role is an on-campus, in-person position.

The Office of Budget and Finance - Facilities is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to provide comprehensive financial and accounting support. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting for the University’s capital construction and facilities-related projects. Responsibilities include processing and monitoring contractual pay applications and invoices, preparing capital funding and reserve reports, projecting cash flow, and assisting in the auditing and close-out of construction projects.

Essential Functions: Monitor and process construction- and facilities-related pay applications and invoices in compliance with contractual terms and University policies.

Prepare monthly and quarterly reports related to capital funding and University facilities reserves.

Assist in the auditing and close-out of construction projects.

Preparation of monthly cash flow projections.

Assist with special projects and associated reports.

Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s is required. Master’s is preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Experience with construction and/or facilities with emphasis on project accounting and financial reporting is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.

Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Candidate must have excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills as well experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience working with Capital Improvement Program Management Software (i.e. e-Builder), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and/or Integrated Workplace Management (IWMS, i.e. Planon), PeopleSoft Financials, construction pay application processes, capital project funding, and close-out auditing procedures is preferred.
