An exciting opportunity has arisen as
Team Leader Field Service Engineers , reporting to the Service Operations Manager in GCS Thrusters. In this role, you will be a part of the Service Operations management team delivering field services to the business. You will be responsible for a team of Field Service Engineers providing maintenance and repair services for our global fleet of Thrusters.
The role will coordinate and plan Field Service jobs and projects in addition to following up and leading a team of Field Service Engineers located in Ulsteinvik. Further to this, the role will be responsible for following up and creating service orders in ERP, as well as updating, maintaining and creating overviews of the current load, capacity as well as the capabilities of the FSE population in Thrusters.
Responsibilities
Workload planning of field service jobs and projects in collaboration with the regional offices
Manage a team of FSE's, providing guidance and support as needed
Creating and following up Service Orders in ERP systemsi>
Making sure that FSE’s will get offered with right type of jobs and assessment opportunities to support their skills development
Proactively collaborate with regional offices and training team to make sure that training demand is covered with Product Center training opportunities and FSE’s availability
Maintaining and updating the overview of capabilities in the FSE team
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is a benefit
Experience from the field is a benefit
Strong technical background
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient English skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through Civil Aviation Authority or a background check.
