Role Specification As a

Presales Consultant , you will sit at the intersection of

AI technology, consulting, and knowledge engineering . You’ll partner with enterprise sales teams and solution architects to understand client challenges, design intelligent decision automation use cases, and demonstrate how Rainbird can drive measurable business impact.

This is a client‑facing, high‑impact role for a technically fluent consultant who thrives in translating complex requirements into elegant AI solutions — and can communicate value to both business and technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities 1. Client Engagement & Solution Design

Lead discovery sessions to understand client decision processes, data landscapes, and business objectives.

Translate client needs into Rainbird-powered solution concepts and architectures.

Identify opportunities for decision automation within client workflows.

Design and deliver tailored proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes using the Rainbird Studio and other knowledge modeling tools.

2. Technical & Functional Demonstrations

Build and deliver compelling demos that illustrate Rainbird’s precise reasoning capabilities and auditability.

Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and solution design.

Create reusable demo assets, templates, and value calculators for key verticals (e.g., KYC, underwriting, compliance).

Work hands‑on with the Rainbird platform to model knowledge graphs and integrate them into decision‑intensive processes.

Support clients and partners in knowledge capture and structuring, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

Contribute to best practices in knowledge engineering and share insights with the wider team.

4. Sales Enablement & Strategy

Partner with Account Executives to craft winning solution proposals and RFP responses.

Contribute to go‑to‑market strategies by identifying repeatable solution patterns and high‑value use cases.

Provide feedback from clients to inform product roadmap and feature development.

Participate in customer and industry events.

Skills & Qualifications

4–7 years of experience in

presales, solution consulting, or technical consulting , ideally in enterprise SaaS, AI, or analytics.

Proven ability to run

discovery workshops , translate business needs into technical architectures, and build compelling demos.

Strong understanding of

AI, rule‑based systems, or decision automation

concepts (e.g., reasoning engines, knowledge graphs, inference, explainability).

Comfort working with

structured and unstructured data, decision models , and

logical frameworks

(no‑code or light coding experience desirable).

Excellent

communication and storytelling skills

— able to simplify complexity for executives and technical teams alike.

Agile, resourceful, and self‑directed — thrives in fast‑moving, consultative sales cycles.

Preferred

Experience with a variety of

AI platforms , and/or

knowledge representation tools .

Experience or understanding of

knowledge representation .

Exposure to

financial services, insurance, or public sector decision processes .

Familiarity with workflow engines,

APIs , and other

integration concepts .

Degree in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Logic, Engineering, or similar analytical discipline.

Success Metrics

Conversion rate from demo to proof‑of‑concept to closed deals

Customer satisfaction and stakeholder engagement scores.

Quality and reusability of presales assets produced.Speed and accuracy in translating client needs into model designs.

Contribution to overall revenue and pipeline growth.
