Job Description Temporary Career Services Recruiting Assistant
The Boston College Law School is seeking a temporary employee to serve as an Assistant in our busy Career Services Office, from approximately mid-November 2025 through March 1, 2026. The position provides support to the recruitment team within our CSO, assisting them in managing our recruiting and interview programs with large law firms, businesses, and public interest organizations.
Supporting the recruiting team with setting up interview schedules, corresponding with employers, troubleshooting changes and problems as they arise.
Assisting with databases of law firm engagement, student bidding, interview scheduling, and other trackable data.
Providing assistance for on campus networking events with employers as needed (during daytime hours)
This is a part‑time, non‑exempt position with an hourly rate of $24.00.
Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong data entry and database management required. Experience in Google docs required.
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills required.
Experience in a professional setting required.
Willingness to learn and serve as an active team member during a fast moving process.
Interest in learning about the legal field and/or law school a plus.
Experience in a career office or recruiting/human resources office a plus.
This is an in‑person position.
