5x8 hour evening shifts (2:00pm – 10:30pm), 40 hours/week Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2190–$2350 Holiday Coverage:
Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) On Call:
Possible 1 weekend/month, including New Year call Electronic Medical Record:
EPIC EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience Strong circulating experience in diverse surgical cases, including DaVinci robotic procedures Proficiency with EPIC EMR Active Iowa RN license ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required) No first-time travel nurses Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application Professional references, including one supervisory reference from the past 2 years OR Nurse Responsibilities
Provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the operating room Circulate and assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including those utilizing DaVinci robotic technology Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team Accurately document patient care and procedures using EPIC EMR Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as required Foster a positive and supportive healthcare work environment Discover the advantages of travel nursing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and take your OR nursing career to the next level in a state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
