Job Description The Hybrid Cloud Operations Engineer for Cloud IT Operations is a strategic and detail-oriented professional with extensive expertise in cloud technologies and services, including backup and restoration. They are skilled in navigating the complexities of cloud infrastructure and excel in managing technical assets and vendor relationships. Balancing technical knowledge with strategic operations management, they ensure cloud-based resources are optimized, costs are managed, and services are delivered efficiently. Their role demands strong organizational and analytical skills, an understanding of cloud operations, and the ability to handle renewals and maintenance agreements effectively. KPIs: Successful implementation of cloud infrastructure projects within defined timelines. High availability and reliability of cloud services. Efficient resource utilization and cost optimization. Reduction in the number of cloud-related incidents or outages. Continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure performance and scalability. Top Deliverables: Cloud Resource Management, including lifecycle management. Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. Develop and maintain cloud automation and orchestration scripts. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resources and improve system performance. Vendor and SP Management Assurance of Maintenance Agreements. Ensuring timely and cost effective renewals Strategizes and Implements Activities for Operational Efficiencies Operational Compliance and Risk Management Reporting and Documentation Competencies Understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies. Knowledge in cloud platforms such as AWS or/and Google Cloud Platform and Private Cloud infrastructure. Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience in operating systems, Virtualization technologies, SAN Storage systems, Data Protection and Recovery. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, disaster recovery and backup solutions for cloud infrastructure management. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new tools and frameworks. HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must have Open to fresh graduates with a Bachelor's degree in any IT or computer related courses. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience in cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management. Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in GitOps Workflows; Terraform In-depth knowledge of GitOps principles for deploying and managing infrastructure. Hands-on experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD ) and best practices for automated deployments. Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container management, with skills in automating container deployments using IaC. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to support automated processes, infrastructure monitoring, and configuration management. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and optimizing cloud-based environments and automated workflows. Nice to have Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or GCP Cloud Digital Leader. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to streamline deployment processes.
