We are seeking a dedicated and skilled warehouse worker to join our team. The role involves providing medium industrial services such as carton picking, shrink-wrapping pallets, and moving palletized material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE). This position requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling, as well as the ability to operate a pallet jack and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong reading, writing, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform carton picking with frequent physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Shrink-wrap pallets to ensure secure and stable transport.
- Move palletized material using manual or electric pallet jack.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good reading, writing, and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in material handling and packaging.

Work Environment
The warehouse environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring attention to safety and efficiency. Employees are expected to dress appropriately for physical work and adhere to safety protocols. The role involves working with both manual and electric pallet jacks and requires flexibility in shift timings.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukegan, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
