We are urgently seeking a Part-Time ( 8-10 hours per week )
Medical Provider/Director
to join our team of committed and caring professionals dedicated to bringing health, recovery, and stability to the lives of those struggling with chemical dependencies, substance use disorders, and other co-occurring use disorders. This position offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and prorated liability insurance reimbursement.
What You’ll Do: Conduct
initial medical clearances
and determine
medical necessity
for clients entering our residential treatment program Serve as
Medical Director
for the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) division of Catholic Charities Maine Utilize
Electronic Health Records (EHR)
and
telehealth platforms
to deliver high-quality care Perform
e-prescribing
duties, including controlled substances (EPCS) Collaborate with an experienced, compassionate multidisciplinary team
Salary:
$140 - $200 per hour. Actual starting salary is contingent with experience/education.
What We’re Looking For: Licensed MD or DO in good standing with the State of Maine (Suboxone Waiver strongly preferred) Medical degree from an accredited institution Minimum 2 years’ experience in substance use disorder treatment Skilled in telehealth service delivery and EHR documentation Empathetic, flexible, and efficient in a fast-paced clinical setting Comfortable working with clients in a criminogenic (justice-involved) environment
