Job Details – Camden, NJ Emergency Nursing Jobs Location: Camden, NJ (08103) – New Jersey healthcare jobs Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Contract Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED) Start Date: December 8, 2025 End Date: March 9, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30) Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Coverage: Required (Every Other Weekend/Holiday) Floating: Required within 5 local hospitals as needed Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250 Qualifications – ER RN Travel Nursing Jobs Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience (within the last 12 months) Active New Jersey or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (valid for assignment duration) Experience in high-volume ED settings preferred Epic charting experience preferred Trauma and Stroke CEUs required Must pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing (2 attempts permitted, must be taken on PC) Ability to float to multiple hospitals as needed COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) First-time travel nurses accepted but not preferred Responsibilities – Emergency Room Nurse Jobs Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a busy Emergency Department Assess, triage, and manage a wide range of acute and emergent conditions Administer emergency medications and interventions Perform and interpret 12-lead EKGs, arterial blood gases, and dysrhythmias Manage trauma, stroke, and psychiatric emergencies Initiate and maintain IVs, central lines, and chest tubes Monitor telemetry and provide care for ventilated patients Float to other units/hospitals within skillset as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
