Department: DCMG Section Orthodontics
Schedule: Fulltime, Days, Monday-Friday 8:00‑4:30
Location: 1301 Barbara Jordan Blvd, Austin Tx
Responsibilities
- Assist with performing assessments and treatments.
- Perform diagnostic radiographs. Obtain alginate impressions for diagnostic and/or intra‑oral appliances.
- Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration; assemble, decontaminate, sort, process and maintain dental instruments utilized throughout the facility.
- Maintain equipment and medical supplies in clean working order. Keep examination areas clean, adequately stocked and organized.
- Take on‑call shifts when requested.
Requirements
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Dental Assistant credentialed from the Texas Dental Assistant preferred.
Education
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
