Production Supervisor - Fort Worth Alliance, TX

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Dual In-line Package (DIP) production lines. This role ensures that production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented. MUST HAVE Electronic Repair experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight and Supervise SMT/DIP line and/or Material Preparation Area (MPA) operations including setup, run, and shutdown.

Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders on time.

Ensuring the production WIP quantity and its aging is within the target.

Coordinate with planning and engineering teams to resolve material or process issues.

Team Leadership - Lead and motivate production staff to meet daily goals and ensure that production operators and leaders are trained in equipment, processes, and safety.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.

Form and Lead the Production departments M360 dialogue meeting.

Process & Equipment Management - Ensures that the production line is ready by coordinating with the support departments such as PMC, PSE, QA, PME, TC, etc.

Escalate issues affecting the production line efficiency, quality and productivity.

Quality & Compliance - Enforce quality standards including IPC-A-610 and ISO related

Review real-time quality yield reports and escalate to the related department for support.

Ensure traceability and documentation compliance.

Continuous Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Participate in Lean and Kaizen initiatives and track and analyze production issues and drive root cause resolution.

Safety & 5S - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensure adherence to safety protocols and 6S principles and address and document safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in technology, engineering, business administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment repairing or refurbishing electronics.
  • Knowledge of SMT/DIP/MPA processes and equipment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
