As the Grower Accountant for our client, you’ll be the vital link between the field and the finance team—managing grower contracts, crop costs, and payments that keep a farming operations thriving. If you enjoy working with numbers that tell the story of every harvest, this is the role for you. Description -Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple grower accounts, including crop costs, advances, deductions, returns, and final settlements. -Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to grower activities and crop performance. -Reconcile grower statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. -Review and interpret grower contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment for payments, bonuses, and deductions. -Calculate and process grower payments, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and company policies. -Maintain up-to-date records of grower agreements, pricing, and production data. -Serve as the main point of contact for growers regarding payment inquiries and account reconciliations. -Support audits by providing documentation and explanations of grower-related transactions. -Track production costs and allocate expenses accurately to specific growers or fields -Maintain pack out information and reports, receiving logs, tracking incoming shipments and address discrepancies Requirements -5+ years of hands-on financial, grower accounting, cost accounting experience in an agricultural, food processing or relevant industry -Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or equivalent experience -Famous software experience is a must -Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required -Excellent communication and organizational skills To Apply Send your resume in MS Word format to Sheri Wright, sheriw@denham.net or call (559) 222.5284 if you have any questions.
