Job Description
Execute warehouse operations in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance.
Work collaboratively with key internal and external (third‑party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution.
Responsible for activities such as inventory management (iDoc management, stock reconciliation), interfaces monitoring, track and trace, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, third‑party performance management, pallets management.
Review and analyze stock inaccuracies and guarantee accurate stock alignment between SAP and the warehouse management system based on information from stakeholders.
Analyze and verify capacity utilization, performance and KPI monitoring, and introduce corrective measures in case of missing KPIs and the need to reduce additional capacity.
Work with service providers to ensure delivery of trading partners in terms of punctuality and completeness, taking into account quality and HACCP guidelines.
Monitor inbound, outbound, co‑packing, warehousing and distribution activities to ensure shelf‑life monitoring, reduce write‑offs, and continuously seek productivity improvements.
Conduct project‑related and ad‑hoc tasks, particularly in connection with continuous improvement projects, tenders and peak management.
Build and provide full‑cost analysis (yearly budget), risks and opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments.
Communicate effectively with carriers, brokers and internal departments regarding shipments.
Follow up on driver appointments and schedule carrier appointments.
Build outbound loads and receive inbound packaging shipments that arrive on shift.
Maintain inventory of warehouse supplies and transfer product between bakery and off‑site warehouses.
Keep accurate records of items on trailers stored in the yard.
Handle donation, take‑home and animal‑feed shipments.
Work with inventory clerks to ensure all expired packaging is disposed of according to protocol.
Handle inbound packaging shipments, ensure they are received correctly, follow up on errors and provide resolutions.
Provide support to warehouse operators on shift.
Ensure trucks depart in a timely manner; if not, communicate with appropriate parties.
Operate telehandler on the shipping side for loading/unloading, or as requested by other departments.
Perform additional clerical duties for shipping offices.
Work hours: 4 PM to 12 AM.
Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft applications, especially highly experienced with Excel.
Enjoys teamwork.
Experience in logistics operations, procurement or supply‑chain function in general is an asset.
Analytical thinking.
Good knowledge of ERP, preferably SAP R3.

Only one certification bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee; only current, active employees are eligible.
