Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol

Sanford, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities. Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions during patrols within the facility. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal staff while on site. Monitor access points and check identification as required by site-specific protocols. Assist in maintaining order throughout the location by helping to deter unauthorized individuals from restricted areas. Complete incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client policies. Follow all site-specific procedures and instructions provided by supervisors and client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Being at least 21 years of age is required. Experience with customer service is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
