Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Florida license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT advanced certifications required Must-Have: - Siemens scanner experience required - Experience in stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrogram, kyphoplasty, biopsies, and drainages - Familiarity with upper and lower extremities, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, and venous access skills - Experience in outpatient, inpatient, operating room, emergency room, community hospital, NICU, and adult ICU settings - Experience with Cerner EMR preferred - COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons) Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. The shift is a Day shift, working 5 days a week. Each technologist will have a daily caseload of 15-25 cases. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirements will be discussed during the interview if applicable. On-call requirements will also be discussed in the interview. Floating to other units is not required. Accommodating block schedules can be discussed in the interview if applicable. Candidates must not be local and cannot hold a pending state license. There are no restrictions on time off in the contract. After the first call off per pay period, guaranteed hours will apply. Special requirements include BLS certification, ARRT certification, and a valid Florida license. Candidates must possess specialized skills in interventional radiology. The workload encompasses various procedures including angiograms, IVC filters, vascular lines, nephro and biliary cases, and others. The working environment includes neuro and interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies and pain management. The facility is classified as a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a total of 599 staffed beds. Candidates are expected to work well in a team-oriented environment. Experience with charting systems, particularly Cerner, is preferred. This role is part of a smoke-free facility. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to starting the position.
