Job Overview

Rowe Casa Organics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our growing
team. In this role, you will provide technical support, maintain IT systems, and help ensure the
continuous operation during overnight hours. This position supports our expansion to 24/5 IT
coverage, helping keep systems reliable for production, logistics, and business operations after
hours. It's an excellent opportunity for an independent, focused IT professional who enjoys
working with autonomy and consistency. This is a full-time position. Scheduled hours are
Monday-Friday, 10:30 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. with occasional weekend on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support

Provide first-level support to employees for hardware, software, and network-
related issues. Respond to helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot problems, and resolve technical issues
promptly. Assist with the setup, installation, and configuration of workstations, laptops,
printers, and other devices.

System Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance and updates on company systems, software, and
devices.

Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and escalate issues as needed.

Manage and maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.

Network Administration
Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company's network to ensure uptime
and connectivity.
Troubleshoot basic network issues (e.g., Wi-Fi connectivity, LAN issues, VPN
access).

Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement network updates or changes.
Basic Cybersecurity Support
Assist in enforcing IT security policies and procedures.
Perform basic security checks, ensuring systems remain patched and protected.
Escalate potential security risks or suspicious activity to senior IT staff.
User Training & Documentation
Provide basic guidance to employees on software, hardware, and IT best
practices.
Document common technical issues and solutions for reference.

IT Projects
Support IT team members in system upgrades, migrations, or deployments.
Assist in testing and implementing new technologies and solutions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or IT certifications
preferred (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Google Workspace, or Microsoft
Fundamentals).
1-2 years of experience in IT support or similar role preferred.

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of macOS and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Ability to troubleshoot and support hardware, software, and peripherals.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
Additional Requirements
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
