Role Overview

Joining H&R Block as a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist means you’ll focus on how to wow clients now and in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner.
- Match clients with the best‑suited tax professional for their needs.
- Schedule clients according to their preferences.
- Ensure all client needs are met during service both in person, over the phone or virtually.
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations.
- Sales/marketing experience (preferred).
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office.
Benefits & Compensation
The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $27.00/Hr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job‑related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in incentive compensation or short‑term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
