The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies tailored to the manufacturing industry and specific plant needs.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of manufacturing roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, job specifications, and preferred qualifications.
- Utilize multiple recruitment channels, including online job boards, social media, career fairs, and employee referrals.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure timely fulfillment of hiring needs and minimize production downtime.
- Track recruiting metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on hiring process, challenges, and successes.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in manufacturing recruitment and workforce development.
- Attend career fairs and work with schools to source candidates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
• SHRM, or HRCI certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficient with recruitment marketing.
