Recruitment Consultant / Senior Consultant - Oliver James - NYC

We are seeking a driven and ambitious 360 Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing New York City team. This is a true 360 role where you will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle – from business development and client management to candidate sourcing and placement.

Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $82,500.00/yr

Business Development (BD)

• Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within your specialist market
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of client accounts through cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Develop deep relationships with hiring managers and key decision‑makers
• Conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs, organizational culture, and strategic objectives
• Negotiate terms of business and fee structures

Candidate Management

• Source high‑quality candidates through headhunting, referrals, job boards, and social media
• Conduct thorough candidate interviews and assessments
• Build and maintain a strong network of industry professionals
• Provide career guidance and market insights to candidates
• Manage the entire interview process and offer negotiation

Delivery & Account Management

• Match candidates to client requirements with precision and speed
• Coordinate interviews and manage feedback loops
• Ensure exceptional client and candidate experience throughout the process
• Achieve and exceed monthly billing targets
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM system

What We're Looking For

• 2‑3 years of recruitment experience in a 360 or similar role (agency experience preferred)
• Proven track record of winning new business and delivering placements
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Resilience, determination, and a competitive drive to succeed
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
