Overview

We may have the perfect opportunity for you! As a Cybersecurity Analyst I you will be responsible for cyber threat identification, evaluation, prioritization, and remediation activities under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager. You'll continuously review existing and proposed changes to SNC systems, networks, and software designs, and are responsible for analyzing logging and alerting data, identifying and escalating potential security events. The Cyber Security Analyst will partner with business users to support the integration of cybersecurity protections into business operations and will act as a key member of the incident response team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize cyber threats.
  • Remediate identified threats under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager.
  • Review existing and proposed changes to SNC systems, networks, and software designs.
  • Analyze logging and alerting data to detect and diagnose potential security events.
  • Partner with business users to integrate cybersecurity protections into business operations.
  • Serve as a key member of the incident response team.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
  • Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
  • Knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to read and interpret security and technical documentation.
  • Proven track record of maintaining the confidentiality of high‑sensitivity projects and data.
  • Ability to perform critical incident response.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non‑U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
