Position

2nd Shift Assistant Production Supervisor – Oostburg Production Facility

Responsibilities

• Aiding supervision for 2nd shift operations and direct shift administrative tasks.
• Reporting to the Production Manager.
• Creating and adjusting daily personnel and production schedules to meet production demand.
• Monitoring, adjusting, and correcting employee time‑keeping punches in UKG Pro.
• Approving and rejecting vacation requests based on customer demands and line capacity.
• Communicating job codes and punch procedures to the production team.
• Ensuring depth charts are up‑to‑date and communicating with the Supervisor on scheduling needs.
• Making necessary adjustments for scheduling and allocations in the ERP Computer System.
• Auditing and implementing training checklists.
• Ensuring administration of MSLOTO documentation and scheduling MSLOTO audits.
• Evaluating and completing non‑conformance forms for raw materials.
• Leading and assisting in investigations to identify problem sources related to scheduling and downtime, and making decisions regarding solutions.
• Assisting in root cause analysis for safety, quality, and production‑related events.
• Assisting the Production Supervisor in any duties related to their position as requested.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Production Manager, Sr. Director of Manufacturing – Operations, Vice President – Operations, or other Plant Executive Management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred. Experience working in a production manufacturing setting.
• Experience in a progressively responsible role preferred.
• Requires a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Specific knowledge of production processes and packaging operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Ability to use a PC, iPad, and mainframe computer.
