The Newark, NJ office of Epstein Becker & Green is seeking an attorney to work in its growing national management‑side Employment, Labor & Workforce Management (ELWM) practice. Candidates should have four to five years of relevant labor and employment law experience. This position requires knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws. Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances. Provide advice and counsel on workplace matters, including hiring, onboarding, employee discipline and discharge, wage and hour compliance, employee relations, mitigation of risk, workplace accommodations, leave management, employment agreements, reductions‑in‑force, and employment‑related policies. Qualifications

Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and writing skills. Admission to practice law in New Jersey mandatory. Knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws (Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws). Experience handling all aspects of litigation and providing workplace counsel. Expected salary range for this position is $240,000‑$260,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and licensure or certification obtained. In addition to a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
