We’re looking for a skilled
Certified Veterinary Technician
to join our team at
VCA Animal Hospitals . Be part of a hospital family while advancing your career with comprehensive support and resources.
Schedule : Full‑time (33 – 38 hours weekly) with rotating Saturdays.
Compensation : $20–$27 per hour, based on skill level and experience. Opportunities for financial growth available.
Snapshot of the Role
Collect patient histories and perform physical exams.
Conduct IVC placement and venipuncture.
Prepare for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and provide postoperative care.
Perform dental procedures and take radiographs.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Educate and communicate with clients.
Assist with diagnostic imaging, lab tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and prescribed treatments.
Collaborate with veterinarians, other technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Additional responsibilities as needed.
