Qualifications

Active Virginia medical license and DEA number

Board certification in Emergency Medicine (or related specialty)

Experience working in an Emergency Department

Prescriptive authority for clinicians

Expectations

Cover 1 PM–9 PM shift in the Emergency Department

Provide 24 MD hours coverage per week alongside other APPs

Support 2 full‑time equivalents (FTEs) within the unit

Use Meditech electronic health record system

Participate in emergency credentialing process beginning in December
